Kate Lukas Eventing - Livery Services in London, Surrey and the South East
Kate, who has competed up to Advanced, has produced her team of horses through BE's grades over several seasons. Kate's career highlights so far include winning the Novice Owner Rider Championships, qualifying for the Festival of Eventing at Gatcombe and being long listed for the British Rural Riders Team.

Kate Lukas Eventing - The Team - Laura Wade
Laura joined Kate’s team at the tail end of 2008. Having kept horses and ridden since a young age Laura went on to complete her Level 3 ANC in Horse Management at Houghall Collage in Durham in 2005. In 2006 she moved to New Zealand for two years to work in a competition Stud. Her own riding background is mainly in breeding and Show Jumping but she has already shown more than enough aptitude and ability to excel in Eventing.

Kate Lukas Eventing - The Team - Lucy Bucknell

Lucy Bucknell joined Kate Lukas Eventing as Stable Jockey in 2009. Lucy boasts an extensive (and varied) equestrian CV having produced her own horse, Storm A Brewing, up to British Eventing's Intermediate and FEI CCI** level. Lucy has a talent for producing young horses, typified by Storm, with an education that draws from her seven years of affiliated Eventing, Hunting and her time with the South Berkshire Pony Club. Lucy graduated from the Royal Agricultural College in 2009 and is looking forward to her first full season with Kate Lukas Eventing.

Caroline joined Kate Lukas Eventing in June ’08 after graduating from Oxford University with a Music degree. She spent the three previous summers working with horses in Canada where she was responsible for training a range of horses and teaching both English and Western riding. Her main interest now lies in producing younger horses and she competes at BE affiliated level. Caroline is currently working towards qualifying her own young horse for this year’s Young Horse Championships.

Lucy is Kate's jumping trainer and regularly teaches clinics at Littleton Manor. She had great Eventing success including 3 gold medals and representing Ireland as a senior. Lucy became Open European Three Day Event Champion 1995 - 1997 (pictured)

Annabelle trains Kate on the flat. As well as weekly dressage drilling seasons for Kate Annabelle also is a regular at events to assist on the day and keep the team prepared. Annabelle enjoyed considerable success herself and competed to international level at 4* until 2000. She now concentrates on teaching.

Michael is the yard vet for Kate Lukas Eventing. Michael is somehow always cheerful and is one of the few people we know who seems to work longer hours than us! Although he does a great job and is great to have around we are grateful that we do not see him very often!

Gavin has developed a unique approach to the treatment of the equine athlete known as Equine Postural Training which optimises the bio-mechanical function of the musculo-skeletal system. Gavin has lectured and published extensively and is a senior lecturer at the European School of Osteopathy

Equine physiotherapist who visits once a month. Her intensive sports massage maintains the horses during the competition season and helps identify any potential physical problems. Penny's philosophy is that horses are athletes and should be treated as such. Penny lectures and has published numerous works.

Ralph Rennison Dip WCF CNBBT CNBF is a partner of The Farriery Practice, based in West Sussex. Ralph is a Certified Natural Balance Farrier and is dedicated to a modern approach to the hoof care of equine athletes, aiming to provide the highest level of equine soundness. Ralph is into his second season of working with Kate Lukas Eventing.

Surrey based Daniel Hewer Dip WCF ATF has been yard farrier for Kate Lukas Eventing since 2008. With over ten years experience of both traditional and modern farrier techniques Dan brings a vast wealth of knowledge to the yard and undertakes all types of shoeing and trimming, including remedial work. Dan regularly competes in shoeing competitions and became an approved training farrier in 2008.
